House Flies

Where there are humans there are house flies. The only exception is where the temperature is too cold for them
They like to lay their eggs in faeces
They are particularly fond of rubbish, especially wet and warm rubbish
They lack any kind of shyness and are quite opportunistic. Flies will go almost anywhere to find food
Their bodies are usually ridden with germs that are harmful to us. They regularly cause us many illnesses
House flies will happily land on our food and very often poison it
They can taste using their feet - the same feet that may have walked on cow dung!
They can only drinks liquids (or very soft tissue) and use their saliva to soften and liquefy solid foods
The long list of diseases that house flies can carry includes anthrax, dysentery, typhoid fever and cholera
